LARRY KAY, a Los Angeles-based writer, shares Dawn’s legacy through his writing and public appearances. He writes for Dog Fancy magazine, AOL’sPaw Nation website, and other national publications. Larry’s personal mission is to help families become safe and successful with pets.
He believes that when kids discover pets, they discover themselves. Larry created the Animal Wow Dogs Wow Dogs DVD, which has become the most award-winning dog care DVD for kids, and is Editorial Director for two Animal Wow blogs: “When Kids Discover Pets” for families and “Stately Sniffs the Web” for kids.
His writing credits include PBS documentaries, educational films for the New York City Board of Education, and children’s edutainment software for Disney and The Muppets.
