Cat Rescue Story: The Story Of Rosebud
Rosebud started her life without a home of her own. Kelly Semlow-Smith said a local couple would typically take in stray cats, foster them and get them spayed and neutered. “They found Rosebud on the streets, got her fixed, but had to leave her outside,” she said. “They already had ten cats.”
A photo of Rosebud was posted on Facebook. “She was staring into the kitchen door,” Kelly said. “You could tell she wanted to come in side, but there was no room for her at their house.”
Once Kelly saw Rosebud’s photo she knew she had to have her. “I saw the picture and know that Rosebud had found her forever home — with us. My son had been begging for his own cat, so I surprised him.
Rosebud is a wonderful addition to her new family and she doesn’t have to look in the door at the other cats — she has her own indoor, forever home.
