Beefcake, a Pit Bull/Great Dane mix, came in as a 10 year old, very skinny stray to the Regional Center For Animal Care and Protection (RCACP), aka the local kill shelter. No one ever claimed him and we have no idea how long he was on his own. Beefy’s forever mom heard about him through a Facebook page called Friends of RCACP and knew she had to give him his forever home, but she needed time to prepare for him. Thankfully, the director of Forever Home Animal Rescue pulled Beefy from the RCACP and Tommy, a volunteer, fostered Beefy until he could live with his new family.
Beefy is a very loving and laid back guy, who plays with his new brothers like he’s still a puppy! He is proof that senior dogs are special, and have so much love to give!
