Dog Rescue Stories: Charlie Spent His First Year at a Puppy Mill

By Jarissa Aquinde, Positively Woof Rescue and Adoption Story Editor

Charlie is a five year old Dachsund/Miniature Pinscher mix. His forever parents adopted him from the RSCPA in Kingaroy DLQ, Australia. Charlie spent the first year of his life at a puppy mill, and the next two years waiting for his forever home at the RSPCA. He had never even played with a ball before finding his forever family. Now, he is completely ball obsessed! Even though his parents are vegan, Charlie is raw fed and they don’t mind cutting up meat for their furbaby!
