Dog Rescue Stories: Cleo Was Dumped At the Pound By A Backyard Breeder

Cleo had a very rough start to life, as she was used as a breeding “machine” from her very first season. After numerous litters, the backstreet breeder decided that Cleo wasn’t needed anymore, and dumped her at the local pound. Thankfully, a kind hearted woman saved Cleo right before she was to be euthanized at the pound, and RATS (Rehoming Animal Telephone Service) took her in to their rescue.

Cleo’s furever mom saw her picture on the RATS website, and immediately fell in love with the 3 year old pup! Cleo suffers from arthritis, but that doesn’t stop her from living her life to the fullest! All she wants to do is cuddle and be by her mom’s side. She fit right in from day one, and makes her mom proud every day! Cleo loves everyone, and no one can resist that beautiful smile of hers!
