My name is Coco and I live in Chester, PA. My early days were pretty tough. My former parents went to jail and I was living in a basement all by myself for three months. I was part of a Humane Investigation and after being found chained to a fence, I was taken to the Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania.
I spent over three months at the shelter. The incredible volunteers at Providence AC trained me, took me on walks, runs and hikes. They showed me how trust humans again.

One day, a nice man named Jason stopped at my kennel. He was frequenting the shelter looking for a dog. He saw me a few times during my three month stay, but after having two rescued Pit Bulls recently pass away from cancer, he was looking for a smaller type of dog. I was sad but determined to find a home.

About a month passed and I was still at the shelter. A volunteer took me for a walk. We were just about to head inside to the kennel when a man inquired about my availability. I couldn’t control my tail. I pulled to get to get near him and smell him!

It was Jason. He came back for me!!!!!! When he knelt down to pet me, I kissed him and rolled over at his feet. I just wanted to ensure I closed the deal. He still swears that I’m the best thirty bucks he’s ever spent!

When I left the Shelter I was 37 Pounds. My daddy knew exactly what I needed. FOOD AND REST. After 3 weeks of rest and antibiotics I was ready to start training and exercising.
