The DiStefanos live in New Jersey, and adopted Dawkins from SOS Rescue. He traveled all the way from Georgia to live with his forever family! SOS Rescue saves dogs from kill shelters, gets them healthy and socialized, and helps find their forever homes. Dawkins is a Pit Bull/American Bulldog mix and right now at seven months, weighs about 45 pounds.
Dawkins’ parents adopted him when he was three months old, and since then, he’s tripled in size! They have been married for a year and wanted their first baby to be a “fur” baby. Dawkins is a registered emotional support dog (his daddy is an Army vet) and has been the most lovable, playful and crazy pup. Dawkins grandpa has ALS and is no longer mobile, but Dawkins brings so much joy to his grandpa’s life, and his grandpa always has treats in his hand for his little granddog.
