One of our dogs passed away and our other dog was heartbroken, as were we. A few months had passed and we knew it would be best him to adopt another puppy to keep him company.
We went to our local humane society and asked to see a certain dog – we wanted to adopt a Pit Bull since they are so adorable, misunderstood and often remain in shelters the longest.
They told us our next furbaby was “in the movie room watching tv”!!! We walked in, sat on the couch next to her and she brought a toy right over to us. Then she gave us a million kisses!
Needless to say, we brought her home!! She had abandonment issues would always cower when we tried to pet her in the beginning. Her previous human abused her, and as you can tell by her ears. When we first adopted her, her skinny body and muscular legs indicated that she was being trained to be a fight dog.
Despite her rough beginning, Eve is a lover…NOT a fighter!!! She loves nothing more than to go on walks and cuddle!
