Dog Rescue Stories: Junebug and Her Daughter Ran Away

Junebug was neglected, and lived outside for the majority of her life. She and her daughter ran away and ended up at the shelter four times before the owner finally said they were no longer wanted.  Thankfully, they were both rescued by City Dogs Rescue DC! Both Mother and daughter are happy and loved in their respective forever homes.  They live four blocks away from each other, and have play dates all the time!!

I may not have won the @bestbullysticks contest, but I found my forever home six months ago so I won something even better 🙂 here’s a picture of me and my daughter last night on a walk! We’re both about to celebrate our six month adopt-versaries and found forever homes just blocks apart! ????????????

Mom and I like watching sunsets together, they’re so peaceful. She says there’s a lot of sadness and anger out in the world right now, and we want to extend our hands (and paws) to those hurting, those who are suffering, those who are angry and those who don’t know what to do. I tell mom I see no color, and I wag my tail every day at everyone (ok cept those squirrels and rats– but they taunt me!!)– wouldn’t it be nice if everyone could do the same?
