Hi! My name is Kara and I’m an adopted/rescued Whoodle (Wheater Terrier/Poodle) from Iowa. My furever home is in Minnesota! I had a rough start in life — I was born in a ‘puppy mill’. Two of my siblings and I were attacked by another Mom at the puppy mill who was ‘protecting her litter’. Thankfully, someone had a heart and dropped my siblings and me off at Noah’s Bark Rescue in Iowa.
The owner of the rescue brought us to the vet and we received the medical care we so desperately needed. Because of the attack, I was left with a bad scar on my back hind leg. Sadly, one of my siblings passed away, but my sister was adopted to a loving family.
My forever parents tried to adopt me from the rescue, but I was already claimed by another family. Then, they got the call, late at night, that I was returned and they came down the very next day to pick me up! It was love at first sight! That day was April 3rd 2015, and I couldn’t be happier. I came home to a fur-sister, Whitney, and we are best friends! I love playing with toys, chasing cats and running around. Oh, and of course, playing with Whitney! I do get into the garbage once in a while but I’ve gone to dog obedience school and passed with flying colors.
I recently turned two years old and am as happy as I can be in my forever home! My parents are even looking for another Whoodle to adopt!
