Dog Rescue Stories: Layla Survived After She Was Thrown From A Car!

Layla and her litter mates were thrown out of a car, and were found on the side of a Texas road.  Meanwhile, Megan had been trying to convince her boyfriend to get a dog for about 6 months, and he had finally agreed.  He gave Megan a list of requirements for the dog he wanted to add to their family.  Megan knew she wanted to adopt a dog, so she immediately went on Facebook and looked at all of the local animal shelters’ pages. About 10 minutes in to her search, she spotted Layla at Seagoville Animal Shelter…and Layla matched everything on Megan’s boyfriend’s list! They rushed over to the animal shelter and adopted her an hour later!

Layla was potty trained within the first 2 days, as she is a very quick learner! She won the sit and stay contest for her puppy obedience class! Adopting Layla is, without a doubt, the best decision Megan and her boyfriend have made.  She is still pretty skittish around men and still gets nervous in the car, but she is thriving in her forever home! Another shelter dog is happy, safe, and loved!
