Dog Rescue Stories: Logan was “Illegal” In the County He was Found In

Logan was found as a stray in Miami in March of 2013 and he was picked up by the Miami-Dade County Animal Control. They deemed him unadoptable but because Pit Bulls were illegal in the county, they could not adopt him out. Logan was “Rescue Only”, meaning that they could only release him to a rescue organization.4 the Love of Dog, a Rottweiler and PitBull rescue based in New Hampshire, brought Logan up to New England. He spent some time in foster with a family comprised of a young married couple, their two toddlers and a female Pit Bull.Logan met his forever mom, Jen, on July 27, 2013 at an adoption fair and he officially found his forever home on August 3, 2013. He’s been her best friend ever since!!!
