Dog Rescue Stories: Mila Searching For her Forever Home!

Mila Featured

Mila was seized during a dog fight bust in Putnam County Florida at the end of December 2015.   Plenty of Pit Bulls, a rescue in Gainesville, Florida took her in, and she is now living with her foster mom, Katherine. They believe that Mila was either a breeding dog, bait dog, or just on the property, as she is not dog aggressive.  She is approximately 1.5-2 years old and weighs 46 pounds. Mila is extremely sweet and is so deserving of a great, forever home after what she has been through! She loves to cuddle, nap, play with toys, go for walks and hikes, chase tennis balls, visit Starbucks and PetSmart! She knows numerous tricks and commands: sit, down, shake, roll over, touch, crate and leave it! Mila is medium to high energy when playing but can also be very lazy while at home. So far, she seems to get along great with other dogs, though sometimes she needs a slow introduction, as she plays rough since (she probably wasn’t properly socialized).  Mila also gets along with cats, horses, bunnies and chickens, and is house and crate trained.  Mila would be the perfect addition to your home!!!Mila 4

Mila is available for adoption through Plenty of Pit Bulls in Gainesville FL. Out of area adopters are allowed!
