Caitlin and her husband adopted their first furbaby together two years ago.
They were in college, and Caitlin’s husband was working a night job. Caitlin’s dad had passed away, and she was feeling lonely and wanted some company.
They decided to go to the Baldwin County animal shelter in Milledgeville, Georgia. Moira wasn’t their first choice, but the woman at the shelter told them she was to be euthanized the next day. The woman was distraught because Moira was the shelter favorite, so Caitlin and her husband decided to take her home.
They haven’t regretted it since!
