Leilani was lucky enough to come across Peanut and adopt him about a year ago. Peanut was thrown away and abandoned by his first family. A lady found him tied to a door, scared, and confused. She already had four dogs at home, which according to her, were all aggressive and were bullying Peanut around, so she could only give him a temporary home.
Leilani was living in Colorado at the time and saw a post on Facebook’s ‘Pets Needing Homes.’ The woman who found Peanut posted a picture of him and her information, and wrote that she was going to take him to the shelter the next day. The moment Leilani saw his picture, she knew she had to contact her.
Leilani met with her that same day and she immediately fell in love with Peanut. She brought him to his forever home and she feels so lucky to have found him. Since adopting Peanut, he has really blossomed into the sweetest and happiest boy.
