Dog Rescue Stories: 7 Pound Ranger Was Determined to Survive

By Jarissa Aquinde, Positively Woof Rescue and Adoption Story Editor

Ranger was a 7lb young pup wandering the streets of Dallas. Although he was young, he was savvy and could hold his own. Determined to survive, he ended up at the shelter.

Dallas Pets Alive! took him in as a foster and when his forever mom saw his picture, she knew she had to meet him. On August 26, 2016, he found his forever home and he an his mom have been adventuring ever since. He loves to run with his mom on the trail, go to the dog park, and had a blast cheering on the Texas Rangers at his first MLB game for Bark at the Park! He goes with his mom on road trips and has even made two trips to Chicago on an airplane! He is very social with the best personality and facial expressions. It couldn’t make his forever mom happier to have given him a home. Adopt, don’t shop!
